Born in 1987, in Istanbul, Turkey. Graduated from Kadikoy Anatolian High School in 2005. Graduated with a BA degree from Visual Arts and Communication Design program of Bahcesehir University, in 2009, with high honors, ranked 2nd of her class, where she was studying with scholarship. Got accepted to the Visual Arts and Communication Design program of Sabanci University, with scholarship, where she got her Master of Arts degree in 2011. While studying at Sabanci University, she also worked as a graphic designer, designing various print material for the university, and as a teaching assistant, aiding the classes: "Envisioning Information", "Typography", "Project Studio 1" and "Project Studio 2". Her master's thesis was on visual narrative through hypermedia and her master's project can be seen here.

She is interested in visual narrative,travelling, graphic novels, book and publication design, learning new languages, photography, music, chocolate, fairytales, mermaids, pirates, crime fiction literature, baking, and visual poetry.

Her mother tongue is Turkish, she is fluent in English, intermediate in Spanish and currently learning Italian. Right now she works as a freelance visual communication designer and visual narrator.
